Bruce M. Cohen, Esq.

Founding Partner of Cohen and Frankel, LLP, Mr. Cohen represents sellers and purchasers in a wide range of residential and commercial real estate transactions. Mr. Cohen has been instrumental in many large scale, exclusive, and luxury real estate transactions which include the largest co-op sale on record in Manhattan in 2008. He has handled real estate transactions in excess of $5 billion over the course of his career.

Prior to starting his law firm, Mr. Cohen was employed by Phillips Lytle Hitchcock Blaine & Huber and Greenbaum Rowe Smith Ravin Davis and Bergstein, as well as boutique real estate firms Liner and Gold and Greenberg, Irwin and Weisinger, where he represented developers and lenders and spent time in the workout department negotiating and preparing forbearance agreements and loan documents for various lending institutions.

A graduate of SUNY at Buffalo and Brooklyn Law School, Mr. Cohen is admitted to practice in the State of New York and is a member of the Bar Association of the City of New York and the New York State Bar Association.

Mr. Cohen is a member of the Board of Directors of the Valley National Bank and serves on various committees of the Boys & Girls Club of Northern Westchester. Mr. Cohen has lectured for the Real Estate Board of New York and currently teaches in the training program for the Corcoran Group/Citihabitats.
